Biography

As a talented storyteller with over 10 years experience in the film industry, he has a diverse range of experience in creating content, including co-founding cmyk Productions, where he worked with labels such as 604 Records to produce and direct over 30 music videos, which received multiple awards, and as Marketing Videographer for the Banff Center for Arts and Creativity. Josh’s most recent credits include directing and editing the 25 x 30 broadcast series, Strong by NM (2020), directing, editing, and DP’ing the digital series Movement by NM Season 1-3 (2021-2022), and the short documentary, The Adaptive Athlete (2021) for the Vancouver-based production company Omnifilm Entertainment. With Omnifilm, Josh is responsible for directing and editing major audiovisual marketing campaigns, instructional programming, and documentary productions with their fitness and lifestyle department. He also works with other companies and projects through development, as a director, on set as a cinematographer and camera operator, and in post production as lead editor. Josh received his Bachelor’s degree in Motion Picture Arts at Capilano University and lives in North Vancouver.
