This Year’s Theme is “My Love For You”

As we fix our eyes on Jesus, we will see how receiving His love for us fuels and turns the Great Commission into action.

To the disciples and the early believers and missionaries, the risen Lord was their reason for living—He was their everything! Their experience of Jesus as a person, and their experience of His great love, focused their hearts and everyday life on worship and preaching the  good news.

And now, nearly 2000 years later, we believe the same is available to us. We can experience Jesus as a person, and experience His love for us in ways that touch, transform, and change the course of our lives.

John writes at the beginning of Revelation, having received a life-changing vision of Jesus,

To him who loves us and has set us free from our sins by his blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

from Revelation 1:5–6

Similarly, Paul wrote to the church in Corinth about what it means to encounter the love of Jesus:

For if we are out of our mind, it is for God; if we are in our right mind, it is for you. For the love of Christ compels us, since we have reached this conclusion, that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all so that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for the one who died for them and was raised.

2 Corinthians 5:13–15

John and Paul both experienced the love of the risen Jesus and each of them responded by yielding to become priests to the Father and adorers of Jesus—our King upon His throne!

Jesus loves us—as individuals and as His Church. His love isn't a vague, theoretical love. His love caused Jesus to befriend real, ordinary people just like us; to see their deepest needs and heal them. His love caused Jesus to ransom us with His blood, claiming us as His own and giving us a new calling.

And what a calling... to be loved by Jesus, to love Him in return, and to share that love with the world!

Our hope is that everyone who comes to Mission Fest 2026 will meet Jesus face to face, experience His love, and will receive His calling, “to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father.” We are confident that Jesus being in our midst as we gather in worship will accomplish more than any human effort could. He will fill us with His love and equip us for His mission to redeem the world. To Him be glory!
